Twitmericks

On the birthday of one Edward Lear/I came up with a novel idea/To report on the news/It’s limericks I use/And will aim to do so for a year.

    Hello mate admire your work, I think it’s very clever as I’m interested in both the news and poetry. I help a lot of foreigners learn English via the Internet and will give them the link to this site and advise them to read as I think it would be very useful for them. Keep up the good work!

      That’s great, thanks a lot. I taught TEFL briefly many years ago, and am very happy if you manage to find an educational application for the limericks, though some of the puns may be a bit impenetrable.
