Storm in a Tee Cup?

(With a rewrite after a correction).

A caddy who hails from NZ/Uttered words he’ll now wish unsaid/About Mr T Woods/He is now damaged goods/& needs new ways of earning his bread.

After my original tweet, as above, @AndrewPotterNZ replied @twitmericks Well not quite. He’s apologised, the golfing body says no further action and his new employer, Adam Scott, is standing by him!”

Maybe I was guilty of twisting the facts to fit the limerick, maybe the story had changed.

So I redrafted as follows:

@AndrewPotterNZ A caddy who is from NZ/Said sorry for things that he said/About Mr T Woods/& yet his livelihood’s/OK as the story’s now dead.
