Thanks to a colleague at work and a follower on Twitter for pointing out that Jack Monroe has switched to the Twitter handle MxJackMonroe, not Ms, so I have amended my limerick to remove Ms (I don’t want to use Mx as many readers, like me, would be uncertain how to pronounce it) and also ‘girl’, which, although ‘a girl called Jack’ was/is the name of Jack’s blog, I gather is not how Jack now identifies. Original limerick below. Interestingly, the rewrite has more retweets as of now.
