Silence is Golden

The Artist, a film without speech

Emerges as rather a peach

A man hating talkies

A dog wanting walkies

And glamorous femme show their reach.

This is in fact a limerick I wrote last month for @thelimerickreview, which reviews films in limerick form. Can’t quite remember whether I tweeted/posted it at the time, or after the Golden Globes, so apologies if this is a repetition, but the film has of course now scooped five Oscars.
