I just watched A poet in New York Last Night, about Dylan Thomas’s last days.
It featured this rather wonderful limerick of his, that I hadn’t come across before:
+++
There was an old bugger called God,
Who got a young virgin in pod.
This disgraceful behaviour
Begot Christ our Saviour,
Who was nailed to a cross, poor old sod.

Pure class from the fiery Welsh bard! Thanks for sharing.
